eXcesS Capacity was conceived by Mark Bruemmer as a marketplace where businesses rent, sell and buy underutilized resources. Owners post their underutilized resources, such as cargo space, equipment, machinery, personnel, real estate, vehicles, etc., to the xscapacity marketplace, buyers search for resources they want, connect with owners, authorize payment to rent or purchase the resources, transfer the resources, rate and review each other after either the rented resources are returned or the purchased resources are received.
